Take some “me” time!
One of my New Year’s Resolutions is to take more time for myself.
By nature, I like to be busy. However, when I do make time for myself, I always feel great afterwards. If you’re hosting a big event, don’t make any plans the next day! Use the time to meditate, do a face mask, take a bath, luxuriate in bed a little later than usual, whatever makes you feel relaxed! I used to overextend myself regularly, trying to be everywhere at once. I learned that having a “day off” after a big event is so important. It allows you to decompress while giving you time to reflect on the good times from your party.
